Wyoming lottery ticket sales and sales are expected to be boosted after a $500 million federal grant is approved.
A Wyoming lottery lottery ticket issued to lottery winners will be sold in Wyoming for the first time since 2010, according to a news release by the state lottery office.
The lottery office said the lottery board voted to issue lottery tickets with the new design on Thursday.
The lottery office says the new ticket design allows for more sales, more tickets to be sold, and more tickets available in Wyoming.
The Wyoming lottery has already received a $5 million federal loan to pay for the expansion of its lottery, which is expected to add about 15 million more lottery tickets to Wyoming’s lottery system over the next three years.
Wyoming’s lottery sales were up 1.3 percent from the same time last year, but sales are still down from the record high of about $1.6 billion set in 2015.
The state lottery board has estimated that the expansion could boost Wyoming’s annual lottery sales to $2.5 billion in 2020 and $3.5 bn in 2021.
